the coalition is the nation's oldest homeless advocacy and direct service organization. each year, to help fund the multitude of worthy services that they provide, they host an auction of donated artworks called artwalk. our 2003 invite of loose cards riffs on the interlocking structure of the eames' 1952 "house of cards" and came wrapped in a bellyband printed with possible card "home" constructions to encourage the invitee to engage in the act of building.
